Abstract
The invention relates to an axial flux electric machine having permanent magnets and comprising a rotor surrounding a stator. It is characterized in that the stator comprises: a “support” first portion; a set of active modules constituting the secondary portion of the magnetic circuit; and fastener means for fastening the modules to the support portion.
Claims16
An axial flux electric machine having permanent magnets and comprising a rotor surrounding a stator, so as to constitute two axial air gaps, the rotor having magnetization zones constituting the primary portion of the magnetic circuit and the stator having a support portion including a rim, active modules constituting the secondary portion of the magnetic circuit, and fastener elements arranged to fasten the active modules removably to the periphery of the rim, wherein the rotor is made up of at least two sectors that are secured together, the sectors having a U-shaped profile, the magnetization zones being disposed on the inside faces of the two branches of the U-shaped profile.
