Abstract
An apparatus and a method for a shared reusable (IPC) library. The shared reusable IPC library includes a client IPC library and a server IPC library. The client IPC library communicates with a client application. The server IPC library communicates with the sender application. The client IPC library includes instructions for creating, destroying, sending, or receiving IPC messages to and from the client application. The server IPC library includes an initialization function for the server application.
Claims20
A computer-implemented method comprising:
- forming a client server IPC interface, the client server IPC interface comprising an unified interprocess communication (IPC) library for a plurality of client applications and server applications, the unified IPC library including a client 1PC library and a server IPC library;
- and
- interfacing, at the client server IPC interface, the plurality of client applications with the client IPC library and the plurality of server applications with the server IPC library.
A computer-readable storage medium, having instructions stored therein, which when executed, cause a computer system to perform a method comprising:
- forming a client server IPC interface, the client server IPC interface comprising an unified interprocess communication (IPC) library for a plurality of client applications and server applications, the unified IPC library including a client IPC library and a server IPC library;
- and
- interfacing the plurality of client applications with the client IPC library and the plurality of server applications with the server IPC library.
A computer system comprising:
- a client application module;
- a server application module;
- and
- a shared reusable IPC library module coupled to the client application module and the server application module, the shared reusable IPC library module having a server IPC library module and a client IPC library module.
