Abstract
Coexistence of multiple types of verification components in a single verification framework is provided. Particularly, the coexistence of proprietary e verification components in an open verification methodology framework is provided.
Claims14
A computer-implemented method for facilitating the coexistence of multiple types of verification components within the same verification framework, the method comprising:
- accessing a verification framework;
- accessing a legacy verification component;
- generating a wrapper for the legacy verification component;
- generating an interface reflection for the legacy verification component;
- and
- instantiating the legacy verification component, the wrapper, and the interface reflection in the verification framework.
A computer program product for facilitating the coexistence of multiple types of verification components within the same verification framework comprising:
- software instructions for enabling a computer to perform a set of operations;
- and
- one or more tangible computer-readable media bearing the software instructions;
- the set of operations including:
- accessing a verification framework;
- accessing a legacy verification component;
- generating a wrapper for the legacy verification component;
- generating an interface reflection for the legacy verification component;
- and
- instantiating the legacy verification component, the wrapper, and the interface reflection in the verification framework.
