Abstract
A compound of formula (I): or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, prodrug and/or solvate thereof, and a method for the treatment of an acute or chronic inflammatory disease by inhibiting the production of at least one pro-inflammatory cytokine selected from TNF-alpha, IFN-gamma, IL-8 and IL-10, involving administering to a patient in need of such treatment a therapeutically effective amount of a compound of formula (I) as defined above.

A method for the treatment of an acute or chronic inflammatory disease, comprising administering to a subject in need thereof a therapeutically effective amount of a compound of formula (I):
- wherein:
- R1 is selected from substituted or unsubstituted C1-C6 alkyl, substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl, substituted or unsubstituted aryl and substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclyl;
- R2 is selected from C1-C6 alkyl optionally substituted by cycloalkyl, aryl, 3-membered heterocyclyl, halo, cyano, amino or nitro;
- substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl;
- and
- N(R′R″) wherein R′ and R″ are independently hydrogen or C1-C6 alkyl;
- and
- R3 is a C1-6 alkyl radical,
- or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt and/or prodrug thereof.
A method of locating immunological lesions, target cells and target molecules, comprising conducting an imaging or pharmaco-imaging process with an imaging biomarker, wherein the imaging biomarker comprises a compound of formula (I):
- wherein:
- R1 is selected from substituted or unsubstituted C1-C6 alkyl, substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl, substituted or unsubstituted aryl and substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclyl;
- R2 is selected from C1-C6 alkyl optionally substituted by cycloalkyl, aryl, 3-membered heterocyclyl, halo, cyano, amino or nitro;
- substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl;
- and
- N(R′R″) wherein R′ and R″ are independently hydrogen or C1-C6 alkyl;
- and
- R3 is a C1-6 alkyl radical.
