Abstract
The invention provides compositions, systems and methods for detecting multiple analytes from a sample.
Claims26
A kit comprising:
- a) a sample collection device comprising;
- i) a sample tube;
- ii) a sample collection implement;
- iii) a dropper cap;
- iv) a compartment comprising an extraction reagent;
- and
- b) a test device comprising one or more addressable regions configured for detection of one or more analytes.

A method of assaying a sample to detect one or more analytes comprising:
- a) providing a sample to a sample collection device (SCD) comprising;
- i) at least a pair of probes comprising a detection probe and a capture probe, each of which is capable of specifically binding an analyte;
- and
- ii) an extraction reagent;
- b) administering a sample from said SCD to a test device (TD) configured to detect said one or more analytes, wherein said TD comprises;
- i) an aperture for receiving said SCD and where said TD does not comprise a mobilizable entity capable of specifically binding said one or more analytes;
- ii) at least one immobilized capture moiety which is capable of specifically binding a component of said capture probe;
- and thereby assaying said sample to detect said one or more analytes.

A system comprising:
- a) a sample collection device comprising:
- i) one or more pairs of probes comprising a detection probe and a capture probe, wherein said one or more pairs of probes is configured to detect one or more different analytes,
- ii) a sampling implement;
- b) a test device comprising one or more immobilized capture moieties which are capable of specifically binding to said one or more capture probes, with the proviso that said test device does not comprise a mobilizable binding agent which is capable of binding specifically to said one or more different analytes.
38-55. (canceled)
A method of detecting one or more peptides comprising, administering a sample to a test device, wherein said device is configured to detect each of said one or more peptides at a sensitivity of at least about 0.30 pg/ml or 1.7 attamoles (10−18) and of at least about 97% relative to a non-target analyte.
(canceled)
A method of detecting at least two or more viruses in a sample comprising, administering a sample to a system comprising a SCD and TD, wherein said system is configured to detect each of said two or more viruses at a sensitivity and specificity of at least about 97%.
59-64. (canceled)
