Discrimination medium and production method therefor

A production method for a discrimination medium, comprising steps of:

• forming a cholesteric liquid crystal layer on a first substrate which is optically transparent;
• forming a fine asperity on a surface of the cholesteric liquid crystal layer, the fine asperity used for displaying a hologram;
• forming a print layer on a second substrate which is optically transparent, the print layer having a predetermined pattern reflecting or absorbing a light of a predetermined wavelength;
• and
• affixing the first substrate and the second substrate to each other.

A production method for a discrimination medium, comprising steps of:

• forming a cholesteric liquid crystal layer on a first substrate which is optically transparent;
• forming a fine asperity on a surface of the cholesteric liquid crystal layer, the fine asperity used for displaying a hologram;
• and
• forming a print layer on the surface of the cholesteric liquid crystal layer on which the fine asperity is formed, the print layer having a predetermined pattern reflecting or absorbing a light of a predetermined wavelength.
