Abstract
The present disclosure relates to impedance tuning of transmitting and receiving antennas.
Claims20
A device comprising:
- a transceiver;
- a receiving narrowband antenna;
- a transmitting narrowband antenna;
- a receiving branch coupled between the transceiver and the receiving narrowband antenna, the receiving branch including a receiving tuning circuit, and wherein the receiving tuning circuit matches an impedance of the receiving narrowband antenna with an impedance of a receiving amplifier;
- a transmitting branch coupled between the transceiver and the transmitting narrowband antenna, the transmitting branch including a transmitting tuning circuit, wherein the transmitting tuning circuit matches an impedance of the transmitting narrowband antenna with an impedance of a transmitting amplifier.

A method comprising:
- determining, by a control unit of a wireless communication device, an impedance of a receiving narrowband antenna of the wireless communication device;
- determining, by the control unit, an impedance of a receiving amplifier of the wireless communication device;
- and
- sending a control signal from the control unit to a receiving tuning circuit to match the impedance of the receiving narrowband antenna with the impedance of the receiving amplifier.
1 more element
A wireless communication device comprising:
- a transceiver configured to transmit signals via a plurality of transmitting frequency bands and to receive signals via a plurality of receiving frequency bands;
- a transmitting antenna;
- a receiving antenna;
- a transmitting branch coupled to the transmitting antenna and the transceiver;
- and
- a receiving branch coupled to the receiving antenna and the transceiver.
