Abstract
A system, comprising a seal segment including a cable fastener. The system also includes a syngas cooler component that includes a cable guide, where the cable guide may route a cable coupled to the cable fastener to enable the cable to pull the seal segment into a mounting position.
Claims20
A system, comprising:
- a seal segment comprising a cable fastener;
- and
- a syngas cooler component comprising a cable guide, wherein the cable guide is configured to route a cable coupled to the cable fastener to enable the cable to pull the seal segment into a mounting position.
A system, comprising:
- a winch;
- a cable coupled to the winch;
- a cable fastener configured to couple the cable to a seal;
- and
- a cable guide configured to couple the cable to a syngas cooler component adjacent the seal, wherein the cable guide is configured to route the cable coupled to the cable fastener to enable the cable to pull the seal into a mounting position relative to the syngas cooler component.
A system, comprising:
- a seal segment comprising a cable fastener;
- a syngas cooler component comprising a cable guide;
- and
- a cable connected to the cable fastener and passing through the cable guide to allow for placement of the seal segment into a mounted position in the syngas cooler component.
The system of clam 14, comprising a plurality of seal segments about the circumference of the syngas cooler component, wherein each segment corresponds to an individual cable guide.
The system of claim 20, comprising a winch coupled to the cable passing through the cable guide, wherein the winch retracts the cable causing the seal segment to move into the mounted position.
