Abstract
A receiving device receives messages, detects the priority levels set in the headers of the messages, and reads the first and second messages. When the receiving device receives the header of the second message during reading of the first message, it controls, in accordance with the priority levels of the first and second messages, the reading rates at which the first and second messages are read.
Claims18
A receiving device characterized by comprising:
- reception means for receiving a first message and a second message;
- detection means for detecting priority levels set in headers of the first message and second message;
- reading means for reading the first message and second message received by said reception means;
- and
- control means for, when the header of the second message is received during reading of the first message, controlling, in accordance with the priority levels of the first message and second message, reading rates at which said reading means reads the first message and the second message.
A receiving method for a receiving device, characterized by comprising:
- a reception step of receiving a first message and a second message;
- a detection step of detecting priority levels set in headers of the first message and second message;
- a reading step of reading the first message and second message received in the reception step;
- and
- a control step of, when the header of the second message is received during reading of the first message, controlling, in accordance with the priority levels of the first message and second message, reading rates at which the first message and the second message are read in the reading step.
A storage medium storing a computer program for causing a computer to execute a receiving method for a receiving device, characterized by comprising:
- a reception step of receiving a first message and a second message;
- a detection step of detecting priority levels set in headers of the first message and second message;
- a reading step of reading the first message and second message received in the reception step;
- and
- a control step of, when the header of the second message is received during reading of the first message, controlling, in accordance with the priority levels of the first message and second message, reading rates at which the first message and the second message are read in the reading step.
