Retrieval result outputting apparatus and retrieval result outputting method

A method for outputting a retrieval result employed in a retrieval result outputting apparatus which outputs a result of example-sentence retrieval, the method comprising:

• evaluating degrees of matching on a character block basis between an input sentence and example sentences retrieved using the input sentence as a retrieval condition;
• extracting a retrieved example sentence as an extracted example sentence in accordance with the evaluation;
• selecting a portion of the input sentence as a reevaluation portion based upon the extracted example sentence;
• reevaluating degrees of matching on a character block basis between the retrieved example sentences and the reevaluation portion of the input sentence;
• re-extracting another retrieved example sentence as a re-extracted example sentence in accordance with the reevaluation;
• and
• outputting the extracted example sentence and the re-extracted example sentence.

A computer-readable recording medium which records a retrieval-result outputting program which makes a computer execute:

• evaluating degrees of matching on a character block basis between an input sentence and example sentences retrieved using the input sentence as a retrieval condition;
• extracting a retrieved example sentence as an extracted example sentence in accordance with the evaluation;
• selecting a portion of the input sentence as a reevaluation portion based upon the extracted example sentence;
• reevaluating degrees of matching on a character block basis between the retrieved example sentences and the reevaluation portion of the input sentence;
• re-extracting another retrieved example sentence as a re-extracted example sentence in accordance with the reevaluation;
• and
• outputting the extracted example sentence and the re-extracted example sentence.

An apparatus, comprising:

• one or more computer processors that execute:
• using an input sentence as an extraction condition extracting an extracted example sentence from a set of example sentences;
• selecting a portion of the input sentence as a reevaluation portion based upon the extracted example sentence;
• re-extracting another example sentence from the set of example sentences using the reevaluation portion of the input sentence as a re-extraction condition;
• and
• identifying example sentence segments for all segments of the input sentence based upon candidate sentence segments according to the extracted and re-extracted example sentences.
