A method for reducing detachment of stratum corneum from skin, comprising:
- administering an adhesive that does not contain a dissolving agent to a subject in need thereof,
- the adhesive comprising
- a base with tackiness, the base comprising
- a tacky composition comprising an elastomer and a tackifier, and/or
- a tacky polymer comprising an unsaturated monomer with a total of 5 or more carbon atoms as the monomer unit;
- an oil present in a weight ratio of from 1.5 to 1.75 relative to the total weight of the tacky composition and the tacky polymer;
- and
- ketoprofen present in an amount of 2 wt % based on the total weight of the adhesive,
- wherein upon removal of the adhesive from the subject detachment of the stratum corneum from the skin is minimized.
