Abstract
The technical solution under the present invention determines paging time by determining the position of the radio sub-frame that includes a paging identifier, with a view to ensuring energy efficiency of a User Equipment (UE). Network-side and user-side paging apparatus and methods are disclosed to perform the paging time determination steps of the invention.
Claims20
A method for determining paging time, comprising:
- determining a System Frame Number (SFN) of a radio frame comprising a paging identifier;
- and
- determining an SFN of a radio sub-frame comprising the paging identifier in the radio frame.
An apparatus for determining paging time, comprising:
- a first determining unit, configured to determine a System Frame Number (SFN) of a radio frame comprising a paging identifier;
- and
- a second determining unit, configured to determine an SFN of a radio sub-frame comprising the paging identifier in the radio frame.
