A lubricant composition comprising a polyether compound comprising an alkylene oxide residue and a carbonic acid ester residue.
A polyether compound denoted by general formula (I);
- wherein, in general formula (I), R denotes a linear or branched alkyl group, R′ denotes a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, and n denotes an integer of equal to or greater than 1 but equal to or lower than 100.
A polyether compound denoted by general formula (II);
- wherein, in general formula (II), R1 denotes a linear or branched alkyl group, R2 denotes a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, and each of m1, m2, and m3 independently denotes an integer of equal to or greater than 1 but equal to or lower than 100.
