Abstract
A method and apparatus for uplink power control in multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) includes setting a transmit power level for a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission.
Claims29
A method for uplink power control in multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO), comprising:
- determining a MIMO transmission mode;
- and
- adjusting a transmit power level with a MIMO power offset in accordance with the MIMO transmission mode.
A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) for performing uplink power control in MIMO, comprising:
- a receiver configured to receive a MIMO transmission mode;
- a codeword generator configured to input data and generate at least one codeword;
- a power setting circuit configured to determine a transmit power level including adjusting the transmit power level with a MIMO power offset in accordance with the MIMO transmission mode;
- and
- a transmitter configured to transmit the at least one codeword at the adjusted transmit power level.
