Method and apparatus for supporting communication in low snr scenario

An apparatus for wireless communication, comprising:

• means for determining at least one physical channel selected for a wireless device from among a first physical channel having a first minimum signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and a second physical channel having a second minimum SNR that is lower than the first minimum SNR;
• and
• means for exchanging data between the wireless device and a base station on the at least one physical channel.

An apparatus for wireless communication, comprising:

• at least one processor configured to determine at least one physical channel selected for a wireless device from among a first physical channel having a first minimum signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and a second physical channel having a second minimum SNR that is lower than the first minimum SNR, and to exchange data between the wireless device and a base station on the at least one physical channel.

A computer program product, comprising:

• a computer-readable medium comprising:
• code for causing at least one computer to determine at least one physical channel selected for a wireless device from among a first physical channel having a first minimum signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and a second physical channel having a second minimum SNR that is lower than the first minimum SNR, and
• code for causing the at least one computer to exchange data between the wireless device and a base station on the at least one physical channel.

A method for wireless communication, comprising:

• determining network loading;
• and
• communicating between a wireless device and a base station when the network loading is light, the wireless device operating without direct human control and having delay tolerant data.

• means for determining network loading;

• means for communicating between a wireless device and a base station when the network loading is light, the wireless device operating without direct human control and having delay tolerant data.

• at least one processor configured to determine network loading and to communicate between a wireless device and a base station when the network loading is light, the wireless device operating without direct human control and having delay tolerant data.

• code for causing the at least one computer to communicate between a wireless device and a base station when the network loading is light, the wireless device operating without direct human control and having delay tolerant data.
