Abstract
An image processing apparatus that performs shading correction processing with the use of white reference data is provided. The image processing apparatus includes a source data acquisition unit and a white reference data generation unit. The source data acquisition unit acquires source data for the white reference data. The white reference data generation unit generates the white reference data expressed with a predetermined number of bits from the source data acquired by the source data acquisition unit. The white reference data generation unit determines bit precision depending on the minimum value of the source data and generates the white reference data having the determined bit precision.
Claims3
An image processing apparatus that performs shading correction processing with the use of white reference data, comprising:
- a source data acquiring section that acquires source data for the white reference data;
- and
- a white reference data generating section that generates the white reference data expressed with a predetermined number of bits from the source data acquired by the source data acquiring section,
- wherein the white reference data generating section determines bit precision depending on the minimum value of the source data and generates the white reference data having the determined bit precision.
An image processing apparatus that performs shading correction processing with the use of white reference data, comprising:
- a source data acquiring section that acquires source data for the white reference data;
- and
- a white reference data generating section that generates the white reference data expressed with a predetermined number of bits from the source data acquired by the source data acquiring section,
- wherein the white reference data generating section determines bit precision depending on a difference between the minimum value of the source data and the maximum value of the source data and generates the white reference data having the determined bit precision.
An image processing apparatus that performs shading correction processing with the use of white reference data, comprising:
- a source data acquiring section that acquires source data for the white reference data;
- and
- a white reference data generating section that generates the white reference data expressed with a predetermined number of bits from the source data acquired by the source data acquiring section,
- wherein, in a case where the source data is data for a defective pixel, the white reference data generating section generates, from the source data, the white reference data that is expressed with the predetermined number of bits and has a value indicating that the source data is the defective pixel data.
