Filter and surfacing virtual content in virtual worlds

A computer-implemented method that facilitates enhancing a virtual experience within a virtual environment, comprising:

• evaluating displayed content within a virtual environment form a user perspective;
• identifying a level of relevancy for a portion of virtual content, the relevancy is based upon an index;
• adjusting a displayable feature of the portion of the virtual content based upon the identified level of relevancy;
• and
• modifying the user perspective of virtual content within the virtual environment based upon the adjusted displayable feature.

A computer-implemented system that facilitates displaying virtual content within a virtual environment, comprising:

• means for employing a virtual environment that enables at least one user to connect in order to interact with a portion of virtual content;
• means for identifying a collection of virtual content that is viewed from a user connected to and being present within the virtual environment;
• means for automatically adjusts a displayable feature of a portion of the collection of virtual content based upon a relevancy to an index;
• means for adjusting the displayable feature to provide at least one of an emphasis of the portion of the collection of virtual content or a de-emphasis of the portion of the collection of the virtual content;
• and
• means for employing the displayable feature as a level of presence that includes a first level that corresponds to unreal virtual content, a second level that corresponds to ghosted virtual content, a third level that corresponds to mostly visible virtual content, a fourth level that corresponds to interactive virtual content, and a fifth level that corresponds to fully real virtual content.
