Hinge lid container and blank

A slide and shell container for consumer goods including an outer shell and an inner slide, wherein the inner slide comprises a box and a lid and wherein the lid is hingedly connected to the box across a hinge,

• wherein the inner slide is slidable within the outer shell between a closed position in which the lid is closed and an open position in which the lid is open,
• wherein the lid includes a lid flap, a top wall, a back wall, a first side wall and a second side wall,
• wherein the lid flap is arranged between the inner slide and the outer shell such that an engagement of the lid flap and the outer shell is capable of opening the lid and the lid flap is capable of engaging with the outer shell during movement of the inner slide from the closed position to the open position,
• wherein the first side wall is connected through a fold line to the back wall, and
• wherein the first side wall is connected through a fold line to the top wall.
