## Abstract

A web comprising a layer of crosslinked cellulosic fiber overlaid on and integral with at least one layer of regenerated cellulose fiber. The crosslinked cellulosic fiber can be sandwiched between two regenerated cellulose fiber layers. The regenerated cellulose can be viscose or lyocell.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A composite product comprising a web of intrafiber crosslinked cellulosic fiber overlaying and fastened to a web of regenerated cellulosic material.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The composite product of claim 1 wherein the regenerated cellulosic material is lyocell.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The composite product of claim 1 wherein the regenerated cellulosic material is viscose.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The composite product of claim 1 wherein the regenerated cellulosic material is woven or knit.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The composite product of claim 1 wherein the regenerated cellulosic material is nonwoven.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The composite product of claim 1 wherein the regenerated cellulosic material has filament diameters in the range of 1 to 30 microns.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The composite product of claim 1 wherein the product is embossed, thermobonded, needlepunched, spunlaced, adhesive bonded, pressed or a combination thereof.

### Claim 8 (depends on 1)

The composite product of claim 1 wherein the basis weight of each of the webs is from 5 to 300 g/m2.

### Claim 9 (depends on 9)

The composite product of claim 9 wherein the basis weights of two webs different.

### Claim 10 (depends on 9)

The composite product of claim 9 wherein the basis weights of two webs the same.

### Claim 11 (depends on 1)

The composite product of claim 1 further comprising a second web of regenerated cellulosic material overlaying and fastened to the web of crosslinked cellulosic fiber on the side opposite the first web of regenerated cellulosic material.

### Claim 12 (depends on 11)

The composite product of claim 11 wherein the regenerated cellulosic material is lyocell.

### Claim 13 (depends on 11)
