Abstract
Systems, methods, and devices employing tumbler-style graphical user interfaces (TSGUI) are presented. TSGUI can facilitate high context rapid selection of content objects from at least a plurality of tumbler components. Selection of content objects can relate to a path for a memory to access a related final information. TSGUI can be employed in mobile computing devices, including telephonic mobile computing devices. In an embodiment a TSGUI of a mobile device can facilitate access to content in relation to messaging applications native to the mobile device.
Claims20
A computer-implemented system including at least a processor and memory facilitating high context access to an information, comprising:
- an input component;
- an output component;
- a content store;
- and
- a tumbler-style graphical user interface component (TSGUIC) facilitating selection of information representations at least in part defining an access path of a final information.
A computer-implemented method for selecting a final information employing a tumbler-style graphical user interface (TSGUI), comprising:
- populating at least a first tumbler component of a plurality of tumbler components with at least a first selectable content object;
- receiving a selection of a selectable content object of a tumbler component of the plurality of tumbler components;
- populating at least a tumbler component of the plurality of tumbler components with at least a second selectable content object;
- facilitating access of a final information related to a selected terminal content object.
A computer-implemented system of a mobile device, comprising:
- an input component, an output component, or combination thereof;
- at least one local, remote, or distributed content store;
- a tumbler-style graphical user interface component (TSGUIC) facilitating selection of content objects that are at least in part information representations, a selected subset thereof employed in accessing a final information, the TSGUIC further comprising:
- at least a plurality of tumbler components having a hierarchical relationship such that a junior tumbler component can contain content objects representing at least a subset of information related to a selected content object of a senior tumbler component;
- and
- at least one selectable content object populating a tumbler component wherein selection of one of the at least one selectable content objects at least in part causes a junior tumbler component to become populated with at least one other content object representing at least a subset of information related to the selected content object of the senior tumbler component;
- wherein the TSGUIC allows for dynamic reselection of selected content objects and accordingly repopulates tumbler components junior to tumbler components having reselected content objects with at least an “independent selection” schema, “validity dependant selection” schema, “inferential selection” schema, “clearing children selection” schema, or some combination thereof;
- and
- wherein a selection of a terminal content object at least in part allows user access to a related final information of the at least one local, remote, or distributed content store.
