Use of Scientific Models in Environmental Simulation

A system for generating a graphical virtual environment comprising:

• a plurality of different scientific models;
• at least one input data source;
• a simulation engine arranged to import data from at least one input data source and process the data using at least two of said plurality of different scientific models to generate simulation data;
• and
• a graphical simulation engine arranged to generate a graphical virtual environment from the simulation data.

A computer game stored on one or more tangible device-readable media, the computer game comprising device-executable instructions for performing steps comprising:

• accessing input data, at least a portion of the input data being representative of a real physical environment;
• processing the input data using at least two different scientific models to generate simulation data;
• generating a 3D graphical virtual environment from the simulation data;
• and
• displaying the 3D graphical virtual environment.
