An implantable composite comprising:
- an elastic band having at least one continuous elongate surface and comprising a biocompatible polymer and a bioactive agent.
An implant device comprising:
- the implantable composite comprising an elastic band having at least one continuous elongate surface and comprising a biocompatible polymer and a bioactive agent, wherein the implantable composite is secured to at least a portion of a surface of the implant device.
The implant device of claim 11, wherein the implant device is implanted in a subject.
A method of applying an implantable composite comprising an elastic band having at least one continuous elongate surface and comprising a biocompatible polymer and a bioactive agent, to an implant device, the method comprising securing the implantable composite onto a surface of an implant device, substantially close to the time when the implant device is implanted in a subject.
