Abstract
A loose mixture formed of one or more solid inert materials and a hardenable resin dissolved in an organic solvent, in particular the remainder of the initial mix used for the manufacture of conglomerate stone sheets, is rendered inert by means of dielectric heating at a frequency of less than 300 MHz. The invention also relates to the plant for implementing this method.
Claims12
Method for rendering inert a loose mixture of residual material of a plant for the production of agglomerated material, said mixture comprising a hardenable resin which is dissolved in an organic solvent and to which a catalyst is added, said resin being mixed with aggregates, characterized in that said mixture is subjected to a dielectric heating step.
Plant for rendering inert a loose mixture of residual material of a plant for the production of agglomerated material, said mixture comprising a hardenable resin which is dissolved in an organic solvent and to which a catalyst is added, said resin being mixed with aggregates, characterized in that it comprises a station (11) for charging the mix to be rendered inert, a heating station (13) for heating said mix by means of a dielectric heating oven (18) and a discharging station (14) for discharging the mix rendered inert by means of this oven (18).
Plant for the production of sheets of agglomerated material comprising, in succession:
- a first station for preparing a mix by mixing a granulated material of predetermined particle size and a fine filler with a hardenable resin dissolved in a reactive organic solvent to which a catalyst is added;
- a second station for distributing said mix inside a temporary support, preferably a tray mould, so as to form a layer of mix;
- a third station for performing vacuum vibrocompression so as to obtain a compacted sheet;
- a fourth catalysis station comprising heating ovens for the catalysis of the resin so as to obtain the final sheet,
- characterized in that it comprises means for dielectric heating of the resin contained in the residual mix and in the cleaning waste, so as to render said resin inert.
