Abstract
A process comprising polymerizing at least one fluorinated monomer in an aqueous medium containing initiator and fluorosurfactant having the formula (I) RfCH2OCF(CF3)C(O)OM (I) wherein Rf is a linear or branched perfluoroalkyl group with 2 to 5 carbon atoms, and M is H, NH4, Li, Na, or K.
Claims10
A process comprising the step of polymerizing at least one fluorinated monomer in an aqueous medium containing initiator and fluorosurfactant, said fluorosurfactant comprising a compound of Formula (I)
- RfCH2OCF(CF3)C(O)OM (I)
- wherein Rf is a linear or branched perfluoroalkyl group with 2 to 5 carbon atoms, and M is H, NH4, Li, Na, or K.
