Abstract
A print control apparatus of a printing system, which performs overlay printing using a pre-created form, lets a user designate a field in the form for data to be inserted into the field in the overlay printing. In executing overlay printing of plural pages, the data to be inserted into the designated field is analyzed to determine whether or not one same data is repetitive. In a case where it is determined that the one same data is repetitive, the form is not created, but in a case where it is determined that the one same data is not repetitive, the form including the data is created.
Claims9
A form creation method in a print control apparatus which performs overlay printing using a pre-created form, comprising:
- designating, by a user, a field in the form for data to be inserted into the field in the overlay printing;
- determining whether or not one same data is repetitive by analyzing the data to be inserted into the field designated in the designating step upon executing overlay printing of plural pages;
- and
- not creating a form in a case where it is determined in the determining step that the one same data is repetitive, but creating a form including the data to be inserted into the field in a case where it is determined that the one same data is not repetitive.
A print control apparatus which performs overlay printing using a pre-created form, comprising:
- a designation unit that designates, by a user, a field in the form for data to be inserted into the field in the overlay printing;
- a determination unit that determines whether or not one same data is repetitive by analyzing the data to be inserted into the field designated by said designation unit upon executing overlay printing of plural pages;
- and
- a creation unit that does not create a form in a case where said determination unit determines that the one same data is repetitive, but creates a form including the data to be inserted into the field in a case where said determination unit determines that the one same data is not repetitive.
