Abstract
Containers (2) to be filled with liquid or powder products are processed by equipment (1) comprising at least one carousel (5) mounted on a floor-standing base frame (10) and set in rotation about a vertical axis (X) by drive components (9) housed internally of the frame (10); the carousel (5) is equipped with a number of peripheral stations (6), each accommodating a single container (2), and is positioned directly above a tank (20) with an open top (27) proportioned and contoured in such a way that washing liquids sprayed onto the carousel (5) in the course of during cleaning operations can be collected and carried away from the equipment.

1) Equipment for processing containers filled with liquid or powder products, comprising:
- at least one carousel (5) presenting a plurality of peripheral stations (6) serving to accommodate respective containers (2) for processing, and rotatable about a respective vertical axis (X);
- means (9) by which motion is induced in the at least one carousel (5);
- at least one floor-standing base frame (10) on which the carousel (5) is mounted, and in which the motion-inducing means (9) are housed,
- characterized
- in that it further comprises a collection tank (20) associated with the bottom of the carousel (5) and presenting an open top (27) directed toward the selfsame carousel (5), in which to collect and carry away washing liquids projected onto the at least one carousel.
