Abstract
An air elutriation device for an air conveying household appliance includes a housing with an air elutriation zone delimited by a filter element, a detection element in a storage space for the filter element, and a cover sheet on the filter element. The detection element can be actuated via the filter element by the cover sheet.

An air elutriation device for an air conveying household appliance comprising:
- a housing with an air elutriation zone delimited by a filter element;
- a detection element in a storage space for the filter element;
- and
- a cover sheet on the filter element, wherein the detection element can be actuated via the filter element by the cover sheet.
A method for detecting a filter element in an air elutriation device for an air conveying household appliance, the device having a housing with an air elutriation zone delimited by a filter element, a detection element, and a cover sheet on the filter element, the method comprising recognizing the filter element by the cover sheet with the detection element.
