Abstract
Disclosed are a method of transmitting and receiving a broadcast signal and an apparatus for receiving the broadcast signal. In the present invention, first program table information describing a broadcasting stream, and second program table information including additional service identifier information of the multiplexed stream and third program table information describing the additional service data for the multiplexed stream are obtained. The additional service can be provided with the additional service data by using the third program table information.

A method of receiving an additional service in a digital broadcast receiver connected with an interactive network, the method comprising:
- receiving, from a broadcast channel, a first program information signaling identification information for a second program information;
- receiving, from the broadcast channel, the second program information identifying an additional service;
- and
- receiving, from an interaction channel or the broadcast channel, the additional service based on the second program information,
- providing the received additional service.
A digital broadcast receiver connected with an interactive network, the digital broadcast receiver comprising:
- a tuner configured to
- receive, from a broadcast channel, a first program information signaling identification information for a second program information and the second program information identifying an additional service;
- a network interface configured to receive, from an interaction channel, the additional service based on the second program information;
- and
- a decoder configured to decode the first program information and the second program information.
A digital broadcast receiver connected with an interactive network, the digital broadcast receiver comprising:
- a tuner configured to
- receive, from a broadcast channel, a first program information signaling identification information for a second program information and the second program information identifying an additional service, and
- receive the additional service based on the second program information from the broadcast channel;
- and
- a decoder configured to decode the first program information and the second program information.
