Abstract
Compositions comprising antigen binding polypeptides that bind specifically to Receptor For Advanced Glycation End-product (RAGE) and comprises: one or more complementarity determining regions (CDRs) with improved binding efficiency over a parental monoclonal antibody to RAGE are described. Antibodies containing the CDR's and methods of treating a RAGE-related disease or disorder comprising administering to the subject a therapeutically effective amount of the compositions of the invention are also provided.
Claims50
An isolated antigen binding polypeptide that binds specifically to Receptor for Advanced Glycation End-product (RAGE) and comprises:
- one or more complementarity determining regions (CDRs) selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NO's 42 to 45 and SEQ ID NOs 76 to 81.
An antigen binding polypeptide that specifically binds to mouse and human RAGE and comprises a VL amino acid sequence that is at least 90% identical to SEQ ID NO:
- 1 and a VH amino acid sequence that is at least 90% identical to SEQ ID NO:2.
An isolated nucleic acid comprising a nucleotide sequence encoding at least one anti-RAGE antibody variable region amino acid sequence selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NO;'s 50 through 74.
An isolated nucleic acid that specifically hybridizes to a nucleic acid of claim 36 or a complement thereof under stringent hybridization conditions.
