A wind turbine blade includes a permeable flap extending from a trailing edge of the blade.

A wind turbine blade, comprising a permeable flap extending from a trailing edge of the blade.
A wind turbine blade, comprising:
- a substantially flexible, permeable flap extending from a trailing edge of the blade between approximately 1% and 5% of a chord of the blade;
- and
- wherein the permeable flap has a thickness of less than about 0.5% of the blade.
