A connecting arrangement comprising a first component and a second component which is connectable to the first component, said components being fixable relative to one another by a securing ring, wherein

• the securing ring is made from an elastic material, and is provided with a radially extending slit, and comprises a profile having a substantially rectangular cross-section, and
• one edge of said cross-section is provided with at least one defined bevel for facilitating assembly or disassembly of the securing ring.
