Aryl-substituted and/or heteroaryl-substituted main group element halides and/or pseudohalides, use of main group element halides and/or pseudohalides, organic semiconducting matrix material, electronic and optoelectronic components

An electronic or optoelectronic structural element, wherein at least one main group element halide and/or pseudohalide is a dopant for doping an organic semiconducting matrix material, a charge injection layer, a hole blocker layer, an electrode material, a transport material, or a memory material, wherein the main group element halide and/or pseudohalide has the following structure:

• Rn-M-Xm,
• wherein M is a main group element;
• R is independently selected from the group consisting of substituted or non-substituted aryl, heteroaryl, alkyl, heteroalkyl, and —Z-MR′n—Xm;
• wherein Z is O, S, alkylene, NR1, or O—(R2)x—O;
• wherein R1 is CN, halogen, alkyl, heteroalkyl or aryl;
• wherein R2 is alkyl or aryl;
• wherein x is 1-6;
• X is independently selected from halogen and pseudohalogen;
• wherein R′ is independently selected from the group consisting of substituted or non-substituted aryl, heteroaryl, alkyl, and heteroalkyl;
• n is 1-6:
• m is 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5;
• and
• wherein any of groups R, R′, R1 or R2 may be connected to each other at least in pairs, directly or via a bridge.

An organic semiconducting material comprising at least one organic matrix compound and one dopant, wherein the dopant is a main group element halide and/or pseudohalide having the following structure:

• Rn-M-Xm,
• wherein M is a main group element;
• R is independently selected from the group consisting of substituted or non-substituted aryl, heteroaryl, alkyl, heteroalkyl, and —Z-MR′nXm;
• wherein Z is O, S, alkylene, NR1, or O—(R2)x—O;
• wherein R1 is CN, halogen, alkyl, heteroalkyl or aryl;
• wherein R2 is alkyl or aryl;
• wherein x is 1-6;
• X is independently selected from halogen and pseudohalogen;
• wherein R′ is independently selected from the group consisting of substituted or non-substituted aryl, heteroaryl, alkyl, and heteroalkyl;
• n is 1-6:
• m is 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5;
• and
• wherein any of groups R, R′, R1 or R2 may be connected to each other at least in pairs, directly or via a bridge.
