Abstract
An apparatus includes a linear heater. The linear heater includes a linear supporter, a heating element and at least two electrodes. The heating element is located on the linear supporter and includes a carbon nanotube film. The carbon nanotube film includes a plurality of carbon nanotubes. The angle between an alignment direction of the carbon nanotubes and the surface of the heating element ranges from about 0 degrees to about 15 degrees. The at least two electrodes are separately located and electrically connected to the heating element.
Claims23
An apparatus comprising:
- a linear heater, the linear heater comprising:
- a linear supporter;
- a heating, the heating element comprising a carbon nanotube structure, the carbon nanotube structure comprising a carbon nanotube film, the carbon nanotube film comprising a plurality of carbon nanotubes, and wherein there is an angle between an alignment direction of the carbon nanotubes and a surface of the heating element, and the angle ranges from about 0 degrees to about 15 degrees;
- and
- at least two electrodes electrically connected to the heating element.
An apparatus comprising:
- a linear heater, the linear heater comprising:
- a linear supporter;
- a heat-reflecting layer located around the supporter;
- a heating element located around the heat-reflecting layer, the heating element comprising a pressed carbon nanotube film, the pressed carbon nanotube film comprising a plurality of carbon nanotubes, and an angle made by substantially all of the carbon nanotubes and a surface of heating element ranges from about 0 degrees to about 15 degrees;
- and
- at least two electrodes electrically connected to the heating element.
An apparatus comprising:
- a linear heater, the linear heater comprising:
- a linear supporter;
- a heat-reflecting layer located on the linear supporter;
- a heating element located on the heat-reflecting layer, the heating element comprising a pressed carbon nanotube film, the pressed carbon nanotube film comprising a plurality of carbon nanotubes, and wherein there is an angle between an alignment direction of the carbon nanotubes and a surface of the heating element, and the angle ranges from about 0 degrees to about 15 degrees;
- at least two electrodes electrically connected to the heating element;
- and
- a protecting layer covering the pressed carbon nanotube film.
An apparatus comprising:
- a linear heater, the linear heater comprising:
- a linear supporter;
- a heating element about the linear supporter, the heating element comprising a pressed carbon nanotube film, the pressed carbon nanotube film comprising a plurality of carbon nanotubes, and an angle made by substantially all of carbon nanotubes and a surface of heating element ranging from about 0 degrees to about 15 degrees;
- and
- at least two electrodes electrically connected to the heating element.
