Abstract
A method of making a linear heater includes the following steps. Firstly, a linear supporter is provided. Secondly, a carbon nanotube structure is made. Thirdly, the carbon nanotube structure is attached on a surface of the linear supporter. Finally, at least two electrodes are provided and electrically connected to the carbon nanotube structure.

A method of making a linear heater, the method comprising steps of:
- (a) providing a linear supporter;
- (b) making a carbon nanotube structure;
- (c) attaching the carbon nanotube structure to a surface of the linear supporter;
- and
- (d) electrically connecting at least two electrodes to the carbon nanotube structure.
A method of making a linear heater, the method comprising steps of:
- (a) providing a linear supporter and at least two electrodes;
- (b) making a carbon nanotube structure;
- (c) wrapping the carbon nanotube structure around a surface of the linear supporter such that it is adhered to the surface of the linear supporter by the adhesive properties of the carbon nanotube structure;
- and
- (d) electrically connecting the at least two electrodes to the carbon nanotube structure.
A method of making a linear heater, the method comprising steps of:
- (a) providing a linear supporter and at least two electrodes;
- (b) creating a carbon nanotube net out of a plurality of linear carbon nanotube structures;
- (c) applying the carbon nanotube net to a surface of the linear supporter;
- and
- (d) electrically connecting the at least two electrodes to the carbon nanotube net.
