Abstract
A method for providing a session invitation protocol (SIP) session between a first and a second entity. An SIP session is established between the first and second entity. At least one media stream is transmitted from the first entity to the second entity. At least one of transmission, storage and play back of the at least one media stream is controlled in the SIP session at the first and/or second entity.

A method for providing an SIP session between a first and a second entity, said method comprising the steps of:
- establishing a sip session between the first and second entity;
- transmitting at least one media stream from the first entity to the second entity;
- and
- controlling at least one of transmission, storage and play back of the at least one media stream in said sip session at said first and/or second entity.
A method of providing an SIP session between a first and a second entity, and a RTSP session between said second entity and a third entity, said method comprising the steps of:
- establishing a SIP session between the first and second entity;
- establishing an RTSP session between said second entity and said third entity;
- mapping between SIP and RSTP information to allow data to pass from one of said first and third entities to the other of said first and third entities.
