Abstract
The present invention discloses an iridium complex containing a (pentaphenyl)phenyl ligand, having the following general equation: in which G is primary ligand, R′ and R″ are auxiliary ligands. On the other hand, the present invention discloses a compound with a 9-[(pentaphenyl)phenyl]carbazole structure and its polymeric derivative.
Claims4
A polymer derived from a 9-[(pentaphenyl)phenyl]carbazole structure, formed by a reaction between a compound with a 9-[(pentaphenyl)phenyl]carbazole structure, and at least one reactive monomer, wherein said compound has the following general equation:
- in which G1 and G2 can be the same or different and G1 and G2 are independently selected from the group consisting of the following:
- hydrogen atom, carboxyl group, hydroxyl group, amino group, double bond group or triple bond group, halogen atom,
- —B(OR)2,
- and —Ar-G3, where R is a hydrogen atom, alkyl group, or aryl group, Ar is an aryl group, G3 is a hydrogen atom, carboxyl group, hydroxyl group, amino group, double bond group or triple bond group;
- and
- wherein said reactive monomer is selected from the group consisting of the following:
- in which R1, R2, R3, R4, and R5 are independently selected from the group consisting of the following:
- alkyl group and aryl group, G4 is a halogen atom, —B(OR)2,
- carboxyl group, hydroxyl group, amino group, double bond group or triple bond group, where R is a hydrogen atom, alkyl group, or aryl group.
