It is intended to provide a composition which is useful in preventing or treating tumor. Namely, a composition for preventing and/or treating tumor which is characterized by containing a component originating in the bark of a tree belonging to the genus Acacia.

An antioxidative composition containing an acacia bark derivative(s) at a dose of 0.005 to 1 g as an acacia bark polyphenol(s) per 1 kg of body weight of an ingesting person per day.
A method of preventing oxidation which comprises treating a body in need thereof with a composition containing an acacia bark derivative(s) at a dose of 0.005 to 1 g as an acacia bark polyphenol(s) per 1 kg of body weight of an ingesting person per day.
