Abstract
A thermal transfer image receiving sheet containing a substrate having thereon a thermal insulation layer, an intermediate layer and an image receiving layer in that order, wherein the thermal insulation layer, the image receiving layer and the intermediate layer each is formed by an aqueous coating method.
Claims6
A thermal transfer image receiving sheet comprising:
- a substrate having thereon a thermal insulation layer, an intermediate layer and an image receiving layer in that order,
- wherein the thermal insulation layer, the image receiving layer and the intermediate layer each is formed by an aqueous coating method,
- wherein the thermal insulation layer, the image receiving layer and the intermediate layer each contain a hydrophilic binder, and
- wherein all layers provided on a surface of the substrate having the image receiving layer are formed by a simultaneous multilayer coating method.
