Abstract
A hitch for connecting a movable object to a rigid rod which includes a semi-rigid main substrate including a plurality of grooves, a flexible element fixedly formed over the main substrate including a first portion for gripping a rigid rod, a clamp connected to the first portion of the flexible element. The clamp includes a lever that couples the clamp to at least one of the plurality of grooves of the main substrate such that the first portion can grip the rigid rod.
Claims20
A hitch for connecting a movable object to a rigid rod, comprising:
- a semi-rigid main substrate including a plurality of grooves;
- a flexible element fixedly formed over the main substrate including a first portion for gripping a rigid rod;
- and
- a clamp connected to the first portion of the flexible element, the clamp comprising a lever that couples the clamp to at least one of the plurality of grooves of the main substrate such that the first portion can grip the rigid rod.
1 more element
A hitch for connecting a movable object to a rigid rod, comprising:
- a clamp for gripping the rigid rod;
- a locking system for locking the hitch to the rigid rod;
- and
- an articulation element that allows constrained, multi-dimensional articulation in the hitch, constrained by cross-section and material property.
