A base station apparatus capable of communicating with a user equipment terminal in a mobile communication system, comprising:

• a receiving unit configured to receive from the user equipment terminal a first signal concerning a capability of the user equipment terminal;
• a transmitting unit configured to transmit to the user equipment terminal a second signal concerning the capability of the user equipment terminal;
• and
• a communication processing unit configured to perform communication processing based on the capability of the user equipment terminal specified in the second signal.

A communication control method in a user equipment terminal capable of communicating with a base station apparatus in a mobile communication system, comprising the steps of:

• transmitting to the base station apparatus a first signal concerning a capability of the user equipment terminal;
• receiving from the base station apparatus a second signal concerning the capability of the user equipment terminal;
• and
• performing communication processing based on the capability of the user equipment terminal specified in the second signal.

A communication control method in a base station apparatus capable of communicating with a user equipment terminal in a mobile communication system, comprising the steps of:

• receiving from the user equipment terminal a first signal concerning a capability of the user equipment terminal;
• transmitting to the user equipment terminal a second signal concerning the capability of the user equipment terminal;
• and
• performing communication processing based on the capability of the user equipment terminal specified in the second signal.
