Abstract

The invention relates to a discharge device for preferentially liquid media with a housing (12), an actuation handle (20) which is formed so that it can move relative to the housing (12), and a transport device (16) which is formed such that in response to a movement of the actuation handle (20) relative to the housing (12) medium is transported through a discharge opening (24), whereby a blocking device (30) is provided through which the movement of the actuation handle (20) relative to the housing (12) can be restricted. The blocking device (30) according to the invention comprises at least one ratchet (50) that can be moved in a defined ratchet direction (2, 8) between a release position, in which it does not hinder the movement of the actuation handle (20), and a blocking position, in which it restricts the movement of the actuation handle (20) relative to the housing (12), at least one blocking handle (40) that is movable in a defined blocking handle direction (4, 6) that differs from the ratchet direction (2, 8), in response to a manual application of force, and at least one thrust member (62) through which the blocking handle (40) is operably coupled to the ratchet (50), whereby the thrust member (62) is connected to the blocking handle (40) on the one hand and to the ratchet (50) on the other hand, such that the application of force to the blocking handle (40) enables the ratchet (50) to be moved from the blocking position into the release position and/or out of the release position into the blocking position.
