Versatile hand router

Versatile hand router, comprising a base plate 1 suitable for being applied to a flat surface, a motor body 2 attached to a frame 3 and having a milling shaft 4 and hand gripping means 6, with said motor body 2 being attached to said frame 3 by a pivoting link 8 that allows said motor body 2 to pivot with respect to said frame 3, in a pivoting plane (X1) orthogonal to the plane of said base plate 1, between a vertical position wherein said milling shaft 4 is orthogonal to the plane of said base plate 1 and at least one inclined position wherein said milling shaft 4 is inclined with respect to the plane of said base plate 1, with pivoting locking means 9 being provided to selectively fix the inclined position of said motor body 2, and comprising at least one side guiding edge 10 comprised in an inclined plane (X2) with respect to said pivoting plane (X1) and which extends in a cantilever arrangement and above said based plate 1, such that a milling cutter 11 mounted on said milling shaft 4 can be positioned under said side guiding edge 10 when said motor body 2 is in the inclined position, characterized in that it comprises supporting-guide means 5 that support said frame 3 so that, while maintaining an inclined position fixed by said pivoting locking means 9, said frame 3 can slide in a vertical direction, orthogonal to the plane of said base plate 1, and vertical locking means 7 which make it possible to selectively fix the vertical position of said frame 3.
