A detonator system which includes an array of a plurality of discrete time delay relays connected in series to one another, and a plurality of detonators which are respectively connected to the array at spaced intervals.
A time delay relay which includes a voltage sensor which, in response to a first signal which has a voltage of a defined magnitude, produces an output signal, a time delay element which in response to the output signal commences timing of a defined time period, and a switch which is operated at the end of the defined time period.
