Abstract
A system includes an electrostatic precipitator, an electromagnetic sensor and a processor to locate spark locations. The electromagnetic sensor is used at various locations of the electrostatic precipitator to obtain data and process the same for locating sparks in electrostatic precipitators.
Claims21
A system comprising:
- at least one electromagnetic sensor;
- a processing device for determining a location of a spark within an electrostatic precipitator (ESP) using data received from the at least one electromagnetic sensor.
A method comprising:
- obtaining electromagnetic field data from above an ESP;
- and
- using the electromagnetic field data to determine a location of the spark.
