Abstract
A method may include receiving circuit information from a backend circuit test system and grouping components in the circuit information into collections by types, the types including segments, equipment, ports, and connections. The method may further include positioning, based on the grouping by types, the components from the circuit information for presentation of a circuit design on a display, and performing path rendering for the circuit design based on the positioning of the components. The method may also include sending an output file with the path rendering to a web browser.
Claims22
A method, comprising:
- receiving circuit information from a backend circuit test system;
- grouping components in the circuit information into collections by types, said grouping comprising identifying each component as one of a segment, equipment, a port, or a connection;
- positioning, based on the grouping by types, the components from the circuit information for presentation of a circuit design on a display;
- performing path rendering for the circuit design based on the positioning of the components;
- and
- sending an output file with the path rendering to a web browser.
A device, comprising:
- a communication interface to receive circuit test information from a backend system, the circuit test information including components of a tested circuit and component relationships of the tested circuit;
- and
- a processor to process the circuit test information received from the backend system, the processor being configured to:
- traverse connectivity associated with the received components to identify segments of the tested circuit,
- define logical columns for a graphical display of the circuit information based on the segments,
- layout the segments based on their intra connectivity and based on the logical columns, and
- send a graphic rendering of the tested circuit, via the communications interface, to a user device.
A system, comprising:
- a user device to request information about an interoffice facilities (IOF) circuit test and to receive graphical representations of a tested IOF circuit;
- a backend system to conduct circuit testing of network facilities and to provide information about components of the tested IOF circuit and component relationships of the tested IOF circuit;
- and
- an IOF test module to:
- receive information about the components of the tested IOF circuit and the component relationships of the tested IOF circuit,
- render graphical representations of the components of the tested IOF circuit and the component relationships of the tested IOF circuit by dividing the graphical representation into columns based on intra connectivity of segments of the components, and
- send the graphical representations to the user device.
A device, comprising:
- means for receiving circuit information from a backend circuit test system;
- means for grouping components in the circuit information into collections by types, the types including segments, equipment, ports, and connections;
- means for positioning the segments, equipment, ports, and connections for presentation of a circuit design on a display based on the circuit information received from the backend circuit test system;
- means for rendering the circuit design based on the positioning of the segments, equipment, ports, and connections;
- and
- means for sending an output file with the rendering to a web browser.
