Abstract
A method includes establishing a first link between a first processor device and a first memory module at a first time. A second link is established between a second processor device and a second memory module at a second time. In response to receiving a first event indicator, a third link is established between the first processor device and the second memory module at a third time, the third time after the first time and the second time.
Claims18
A method, comprising:
- establishing a first link between a first processor device and a first memory module at a first time;
- establishing a second link between a second processor device and a second memory module at a second time;
- in response to receiving a first event indicator, establishing a third link between the first processor device and the second memory module at a third time, the third time after the first time and the second time.
A method, comprising:
- coupling a first processor device to a first memory module for a first phase;
- coupling a second processor device to a second memory module for the first phase;
- in response to determining a failure of the second processor device, coupling the first processor device to the second memory module for a third phase.
A device, comprising:
- a first processor device coupled to a first link;
- a second processor device coupled to a second link;
- a first memory module coupled to a third link;
- a second memory module coupled to a fourth link;
- a switch fabric coupled to the first link, the second link, the third link, and the fourth link, the switch fabric including a control input and configured to:
- selectively couple the first link to the third link during a first phase based on first control information received at the control input;
- selectively couple the second link to the fourth link during the first phase based on the first control information;
- and
- selectively couple the first link to the fourth link during a second phase based on second control information received at the control input;
- and
- a control module comprising an input configured to receive an event indicator and an output coupled to the switch fabric, the control module configured to selectively provide the first control information and the second control information based on the event indicator.
