Abstract
Methods and systems for allocating memory of user terminals are disclosed. A user terminal may determine a weight for one or more categories, each category being associated with Internet information to be broadcast. The user terminal also may determine an available memory size of memory and may allocate memory to the one or more categories for storing the Internet information based on the weights and the available memory size.
Claims35
A method comprising:
- determining a weight for one or more categories, each category being associated with Internet information to be broadcast;
- determining an available memory size of memory at a user terminal;
- and
- allocating memory to the one or more categories at the user terminal for storing the Internet information based on the weights and the available memory size.
The method of claim 14, wherein the broadcast Internet information comprises a category identifier.
An apparatus comprising:
- a processor configured to:
- determine a weight for one or more categories, each category being associated with Internet information to be broadcast;
- determine an available memory size of the memory;
- and
- allocate space in the memory to the one or more categories for storing the Internet information based on the weights and the available memory size.
One or more computer readable media storing computer-executable instructions which, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to perform a method comprising:
- determining a weight for one or more categories, each category being associated with Internet information to be broadcast;
- determining an available memory size of memory at a user terminal;
- and
- allocating memory to the one or more categories at the user terminal for storing the Internet information based on the weights and the available memory size.
An apparatus comprising:
- means for determining a weight for one or more categories, each category being associated with Internet information to be broadcast;
- means for determining an available memory size of the memory;
- and
- means for allocating space in the memory to the one or more categories for storing the Internet information based on the weights and the available memory size.
