Abstract
Computer based methods, systems and software for selecting services for a consumer are presented in which pangenetic (genetic and epigenetic) features of the consumer are correlated with pangenetic based data profiles of candidate services, and the most appropriate services for the consumer are selected or ranked based on the results of the correlation. Non-pangenetic features of the consumer, as well as preferred service features such as price and satisfaction rating, can be used in conjunction with the pangenetic correlation to determine the most appropriate services for the consumer. Data masking is used to maintain privacy of sensitive portions of the pangenetic data.
Claims25
A computer based method for selecting services, comprising:
- a) receiving a request for service selection for a consumer;
- b) accessing pangenetic data associated with the consumer in accordance with at least one pangenetic data mask;
- c) correlating the pangenetic data associated with the consumer with a pangenetic based profile corresponding to a service;
- and
- d) transmitting an indication that the service is selected for the consumer if the result of the correlation exceeds a predetermined threshold.
A program storage device readable by a machine and containing a set of instructions which, when read by the machine, causes execution of a method for selecting services, comprising:
- a) receiving a request for service selection for a consumer;
- b) accessing pangenetic data associated with the consumer in accordance with at least one pangenetic data mask;
- c) correlating the pangenetic data associated with the consumer with a pangenetic based profile corresponding to a service;
- and
- d) transmitting an indication that the service is selected for the consumer if the result of the correlation exceeds a predetermined threshold.
A computer based method for selecting services, comprising:
- a) receiving a request for service selection for a consumer;
- b) accessing pangenetic data associated with the consumer in accordance with at least one pangenetic data mask;
- c) correlating the pangenetic data with at least two pangenetic based profiles corresponding to at least two services;
- and
- d) transmitting a tabulation of services corresponding to pangenetic based profiles whose correlation with the pangenetic data exceeds a predetermined threshold.
A computer based method for selecting services, comprising:
- a) receiving a request for service selection for a consumer;
- b) accessing pangenetic data associated with the consumer in accordance with at least one pangenetic data mask;
- c) determining whether pangenetic data contained in each of a plurality of pangenetic based profiles, corresponding to a plurality of services, are equivalent to at least a portion of the pangenetic data associated with the consumer;
- and
- d) transmitting output which indicates services that are a match for the consumer, wherein the services that are a match for the consumer correspond to a subset of the plurality of pangenetic based profiles which contain pangenetic data that was determined to be equivalent to at least a portion of the pangenetic data associated with the consumer.
