Abstract
Methods and devices to detect analyte in body fluid are provided. Embodiments include enhanced analyte monitoring devices and systems.
Claims20
An analyte monitoring device, comprising:
- a housing;
- a communication unit coupled to the housing;
- a data processing unit coupled to the housing, the data processing unit generating a request for data related to a monitored analyte level, the request transmitted by the communication unit, the data processing unit processing the data related to the monitored analyte level received in response to the generated request;
- and
- a memory operatively coupled to the data processing unit and configured to store the received data associated with the monitored analyte level or the processed data related to the monitored analyte level or both.
2 more elements
A method, comprising:
- generating a request for data related to a monitored analyte level from an analyte sensor;
- transmitting the generated request based on radio frequency (RF) communication protocol;
- receiving the data related to the monitored analyte level in response to the transmitted request based on the RF communication protocol;
- and
- storing in a memory the received data associated with the monitored analyte level.
