Abstract
Peptides, mimetics and antibodies of erbB, TNF, and IgSF receptors and pharmaceutical compositions comprising the same are described. Methods of using such antibodies, peptides, and mimetics in therapeutic, prophylactic, imaging and diagnostic applications are disclosed.

An isolated peptide having the formula:
- R1-R2-R3-R4-R5-R6-R7
- wherein:
- R1 is F, Y, F-G, or Y-G;
- R2 is cysteine or penicillamine;
- R3 is a bond;
- R4 is F-P-D-E-E-G-A (SEQ ID NO:1) or F-Y-P-D-E-E-G-A (SEQ ID NO:2);
- R5 is a bond;
- R6 is cysteine or penicillamine;
- and
- R7 is F or Y;
- and
- wherein:
- R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6 and R7, taken together, comprise 30 amino acids or less.
